The 7th International Conference of Precision Agricultural Aviation

In order to further promote international academic exchanges of precision agricultural aviation, and enhance agricultural aviation research and application, the 7th International Conference of Precision Agricultural Aviation was hosted by the Society for International Precision Agricultural Aviation (SIPAA), the National Center for International Collaboration Research on Precision Agricultural Aviation Pesticide Spraying Technology, Shandong University of Technology, and CIGR Precision Aerial Application Working Group, on June 20-22, 2019 in Shenzhen, China. Dr. Yubin Lan is the chairman and the host of the conference, at the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Lan gave a welcome speech, he welcomed well-known experts and scholars from China, the United States, Australia, Ukraine, Russia, Pakistan, Nepal, Turkey, India, the Netherlands, Thailand, etc. who were invited to give presentations in the conference.

On the morning of the 21^st, Dr. Xinyu Xue, Professor Andrew Hewitt, Dr.  Wenjiang Huang, Professor Baijing Qiu, Dr. Huihui Zhang hosted the conference. Professor Andrew Hewitt shared the topic about UAV spray application research in Australia. Professor Naveed Tahir shared the topic about Evaluation of Multispectral UAV for disease detection in Kinnow orchard in Pakistan, Fiona Lake shared the topic about Sorting fact from fiction - Australian farm drone use and how to increase uptake. Dr. Huihui Zhang shared the topic about Remote Sensing for Water Management in Agriculture, Mr. Igno Breukers introduced democratizing UAV multispectral imaging for agriculture. Dr.  Xinyu Xue gave the topic about Research and application of plant protection UAV technical standards. Dr. XiaojingYan introduced plant protection UAV low-volume spray droplet drift risk assessment test method. Dr.  Wenjiang Huang introduced a topic about remote sensing monitoring and forecasting of crop pests and diseases. Professor Yingkuan Wang gave an introduction about the progress and reference of agricultural and rural informatization in developed countries. Professor Baijing Qiu gave an introduction about electrostatic spray and its application in UAV. Professor Yongjun Zheng gave an introduction about detection and verification technology of plant protection UAV operation. Professor Wenting Han gave an introduction about UAV remote sensing monitoring technology for crop growth and stress information. Professor Yu Ru gave an introduction about design and performance study of pulse smoking machine. Mr. Yafei Pan gave an introduction about development and practice of application technology of UAV. Mr. Yanhong Liu gave an introduction about development and application of ebee UAV in the field of precision agricultural aviation at nation and abroad. Dr. Yingli Cao gave a report about UAV digital image rice segmentation based on unsupervised Bayesian learning. Professor Yuxing Han gave an introduction about compound eye computing vision system and its application in precision agricultural aviation. Dr. Ying Liu gave a report about natural rubber aviation plant protection technology and "the Belt and Road" tropical agricultural science and technology innovation cooperation.

After the academic report, Precision Agricultural Aviation Development Forum was coordinated by President Yuedong Mao. People from well-known companies gave their own opinions about precision agricultural development status and the development about plant protection UAV. Dr. Yubin Lan shared his own idea, he said, the identification of pests and diseases and the precision application of targets are the theme of this conference and the development direction of this discipline. The precision agricultural aviation projects are based on this subject. The precision agricultural aviation team has carried out research on this subject. We have hold corresponding project results exhibitions, recorded precision agricultural aviation courses and opened these to the whole society, carried out remote sensing and precision pesticides application research, the problems of UAV application still need to be further resolved, we should work together, develop standards, using big data, and achieve precision application.

Mr. Yanni gave an introduction about open source UAV data system, Mr. Oleksandr gave an introduction about the development of UAV in the global market. Mr. Yue Liu gave an introduction about the application of plant protection UAV in disaster prevention and reduction. Ms. Yuedong Mao gave an introduction about innovative application of UAV in agriculture and forestry, Mr. Bin Peng gave an introduction aboutthe future of agricultural UAV. Dr. Lili Yi gave an introduction about research and implementation of smart agriculture vineyard based on 5G IoT technology. Dr. Meimei Wang gave an introduction about application of UAV in weed control of wheat and rice. Dr. Hang Zhu gave an introduction about simulation analysis and experimental research on spray characteristics of plant protection UAV based on CFD. Dr. Yali Zhang gave an introduction about research progress on precision agricultural aviation application technology in South China Agricultural University. Dr. Fang Li gave an introduction about multi-mode-based UAV natural human-computer interaction technology. Dr. Juan Wang gave an introduction about application of plant protection UAV in crops in the tropical Hainan. Dr. Huasheng Huang gave an introduction about crop field weed identification based on remote sensing image of UAV. Dr. Guobin Wang gave an introduction about effect of spraying amount on deposition and diseases of wheat field. Mr. Abhishek Dixit gave an introduction aboutresearch progress of precision agricultural aviation technology in India. More than 30 academic reports have been made by well-known experts and scholars, they shared the latest information and research results in the field of international precision agricultural aviation.

International Conference of Precision Agricultural Aviation has been successfully held for six times. The first three times were held at the USDA ARS AATRU, College Station, TX, the fourth and fifth conferences were held at South China Agricultural University, and the sixth was held in Shenzhen.The successful holding of the International Conference of Precision Agricultural Aviation will enable everyone to have a clearer understanding of the development status and future development direction of precision agricultural aviation. It will give a healthy, orderly and rapid development of the agricultural aviation industry.
